Boy or Girl?!

Well, I'm going to the doctor again tomorrow (and keeping my fingers crossed it's a girl-I know I shouldn't say that, but I'm way to girly to even know where to begin with a little boy)! I know that either way, it's going to be fun, but I just won't be able to get away with putting giant bows on a little boy's head...

I'm getting tested for diabetes tomorrow, so I'm not supposed to eat or drink anything other than water after midnight tonight, which will be quite a struggle seeing as I've gotten used to eating, ummm, every couple of hours.

Haha, ok, not quite, but still. I'm probably not going to be in the best of moods tomorrow (nothing new there!), but at least my appointment is early, so I can have a big breakfast afterwards.

Ok, confession. This is terrible, but I'm still not 100% as to exactly how far along I am. I'm so confused as to how it's calculated, and according to what they said at my first sonogram, I would be coming into my 27th week. But then a couple weeks later, they said something different, which would make about to come into my 26th week. I know it's not a major difference, but still. I don't like not knowing the exact number. Anyway, I'm going to try and find out for sure tomorrow.

According to TheBump.com, the baby is about the size of an eggplant, which explains why I can not only feel the kicking going on, but once in awhile (if I'm paying attention) can even see my hand jump if it's on my stomach. Also, it might be possible to hear the heartbeat just by putting your ear up to my stomach, but I don't really like people being that close to me, so we'll just go ahead and assume that's true.

Here lately, I've been completely drained of any energy, which sucks because I thought I was over that whole phase. I just can't seem to get enough sleep, and keep falling asleep every time I sit down. It could just be the heat though, who knows.

Anyway, time to go jump on the treadmill-trying to make sure I don't get TOO giant during all of this! I was weighed for my physical in Korea right after I got there, and then weighed again at my first appointment here and had actually lost about 9 lbs since I was doing so much walking over there (and eating nothing because the food was terrible-too bad I didn't even realize it until it was time for me to actually start gaining weight), but since then, I've gained about 10 lbs. So I guess I'm just a little over what I was when I started, but it's all in my stomach now. I guess the good thing is, as I get bigger, more and more people will offer me their spot whenever I happen to be somewhere with limited seating! :)
